Ordinary frames cause skin fatigue in the places of the frame’s contact with the nose. You can dispose of this disadvantage by lighten the construction to the utmost. The rim’s interaction with the nose is minimized to unnoticeable.

Cerambix Cerdo rims got the Grand-Prix on Charmant International design competition organized by Charmant Company. According to the opinion of president of the jury (Naoto Fukasawa), the Cerambix Cerdo rims is the best solution of the contest’s challenge. The contest’s goal was to design glasses that would become the perfect and absolutely natural instrument. You will not even feel these glasses on your face while wearing because they fit perfectly. The awarding ceremony took place on the 5th of May 2005, during the international ophthalmological exhibition in Milan. Under the terms of the competition, the winner’s rim is in mass production and is part of the Charmant Group collection.
